Emily Rebeca Walkenstein and Kyle Blake Crossland were married on July 14 at the Pearl S. Buck Estate in Perkasie, Pa.

The bridal party included Alyson Bagley (matron of honor), Lucas Simpson (man of honor), Cortney Coulanges (officiant and bridesmaid), Sarah Hall Mercaldo, and Zoë Shanor. Groomsmen included Ted DeBettencourt (best man), Stephen Bagley, Keith Crossland, James Hagerty and Jeremy Scheffer.

The bride is the daughter of Merri and Michael Walkenstein of Blue Bell, Pa., and Edgartown. The bridegroom is the son of Bernadette and Mark Crossland and the late Mary Virginia Kranz Crossland.

Emily is a graduate of Germantown Academy, Lafayette College, and Drexel University graduate school. She is an English language specialist at the Tisbury School. Kyle is a graduate of Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is the horticulture instructor and head varsity baseball coach at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.

Emily and Kyle make their home in Oak Bluffs with their dog Judah, and cats Squibby, Sydney, Chappy and PK.
