As The Yard embarks on a plan to renovate and expand its Chilmark campus, it has announced leadership changes. Alison Manning, executive director and co-producer, will become the senior development advisor with a focus on fundraising, a press release said.

Kim Comart will become the interim executive director on Sept. 16. Mr. Comart is the principal of Comart & Associates, a management consulting firm for nonprofit organizations, and has served as interim director for 13 nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts.

David White will continue as artistic director and executive producer.

In March, The Yard announced an $11 million master plan which would double the space from 7,000 to 14,000 square feet. The plan was approved by the Martha’s Vineyard Commission in May.
