Pathways begins its off-season events with a special concert to honor founder Marianne Goldberg. The show takes place at the Tisbury Waterworks on Sunday, Sept. 15 and features the Yoko Miwa Trio.

Yoko Miwa grew up on Kobe, Japan and came to the U.S. in 1997 to attend the Berklee College of Music. She still lives and performs in Boston, as well as doing shows around the world.

The trio’s recent CD Keep Talking has spent five weeks and counting in the top ten charts of Jazz Week. Her 2017 release Pathways also spent numerous weeks in the top ten.

The concert begins at 4 p.m., and, like all Pathways events, is free.
