The West Tisbury Library will again be offering free community lunches, along with family-friendly crafts and movies, on weekdays during school vacation in February and April.

“We will have homemade soups, bread, veggies and fruit,” library director Beth Kramer said.

From Feb. 24 through Feb. 28, lunch will be served in the library’s community room from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Guests are invited to bring their own utensils, according to a library announcement.

Vacation-week crafts for all ages start at 10:30 a.m. each day. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a mature caregiver.

At 1:30 p.m. daily the library screens two movies, complete with popcorn: a family-friendly film in the community room and a teen movie in the young adult room. Movie titles are available by calling the library at 508-693-3366.

Community lunches and daily activities will return the vacation week of April 20 to April 24, with Island Grown Initiative providing the meals on two of the five weekdays, Ms. Kramer said.
