West Tisbury Library children’s librarian Alexandra Pratt, who steps up to become library director next month, has been named the library’s 2020 Linda Chapman Fellow. This is the second year of the Chapman Fellowship, which supports learning opportunities and professional development for one West Tisbury Library staff member each year and will make it possible for Ms. Pratt to attend the Public Library Association’s annual conference in Nashville this weekend.

The fellowship was established in memory of library trustee Linda Chapman, who passed away in 2016, to support her passion for libraries and lifelong learning. Linda Chapman fellows will have their names added to a plaque at the circulation desk each year.
