Philip Weinstein, the Alexander Griswold Cummins Professor of English Emeritus at Swarthmore College, will teach a free, seven-session online course on James Joyce's novel Ulysses, according to an announcement from the West Tisbury Library.
The class begins Sept. 9 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and meets every other Wednesday through Dec. 9, with an hour-long lecture followed by a question and answer period. The schedule and materials are available at moodle.swarthmore.edu/enrol/index.php?id=19077, password Ulysses.
