Chilmark has delayed its regularly scheduled Tuesday selectmen’s meeting, citing an “unstable internet connection,” according to selectman Jim Malkin.

The town had a meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday. On the agenda were updates regarding the current Covid-19 situation in the town, funding for a nurse at the Chilmark School and an update on the town’s new public safety building.

In a phone call to the Gazette, Mr. Malkin said that despite working hard to remedy the internet issues, the town would have to cancel the meeting Tuesday and delay it 48 hours.

The meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday at 5 p.m., Mr. Malkin said. Zoom links to the new meeting are available on the town website.
