Elizabeth Mallory Jay and William Harrison Woodhull were married on Saturday, Sept. 12. The Rev. Cynthia Hubbard performed the ceremony at Kent Harbor, Edgartown, which has been in the bridegroom’s family for six generations.

The bride is the daughter of Eric and Susan Jay of Groton, Conn. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Woodhull of Pound Ridge, N.Y.

The bride’s sister Amy Sperrazza and sister i -law Krista Jay were the matrons of honor, and the groom’s brothers, Corbin Woodhull and Nicholas Woodhull, were the best men.

The newlyweds both graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., Elizabeth with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and William with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies.  The bride is a senior negotiator at IPG Mediabrands and the bridegroom is a business development representative at Zillow Group.

The bride’s father, now retired, was previously a director of engineering at Honeywell. The bridegroom’s father is a managing director at Willis Towers Watson. The bride is the granddaughter of Deborah and Robert Waugh of Harwich Port, and the late Dorothy and Alfred Jay of South Windsor, Conn. The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Peter and Barbara Guernsey of Kent Harbor, Edgartown, and the late William and Marian Woodhull of Chappaquiddick.

The couple spent their honeymoon on Nantucket and will make their home in Norwalk, Conn.
