Julia Flanagan and Jack Fisher of Boston were married on Sept. 24 at the Federated Church in Edgartown.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Ann Flanagan of Wellesley. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. Matthew Fisher and Dr. Nancy Carlson of Burlington Vt, and he has attended the Agricultural Fair since childhood.

The days before, during and after the wedding were a festive time that included a catered family dinner at the Flanagan’s home, a rehearsal dinner at the Harbor View Hotel hosted by the groom’s parents, a most wonderful wedding reception at the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Hall and a day-after chowder and pizza party at a Katama home.

The couple went to Greece and Paris for their honeymoon. They will make their home in New York city.
