The Edgartown Library is hosting a screening of Wild About Harry on June 29 at 7 p.m. and a discussion with the film’s producer, James Egan.

The film is set in 1973 and is inspired by the true-life events of a teenage girl’s life when she discovers her widowed father is gay.

Mr. Egan’s husband Dan Perdios will also attend the event and discuss his book A Golden Retriever and His Two Dads: An Adventure on Cape Cod, which chronicles working on the set of Wild About Harry.

The library is located at 26 Edgartown-West Tisbury Road.
