On Saturday, August 6, Island artist Margot Datz will present her annual art show at the Grange Hall. The works will be on view for one night only, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Ms. Datz has chosen the title and theme “OtherWorldly” to encompass paintings inspired by nature, tropical flowers and plants, fairytales, fantasy and extraterrestrial beings, The paintings are enclosed in antique frames, further adding to the feeling of another world.

Ms. Datz is known for her large scale murals at locations including the Old Whaling Church, Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, both Steamship Authority terminals and the Hot Tin Roof.
