The amazing Dawn Braasch, who has done such a fantastic job with the Bunch of Grapes Bookstore, has now sold it. The new owners are Molly and Brandon Coogan. We wish them well. Do stop in and visit.

Martha’s Vineyard artist Elizabeth Whelan is showing 10 portraits of famous Island women at Stina Sayre’s lovely store downtown. Don’t miss this exhibit.

Naromar DePaula Jr. received a promotion last week from the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejuene. Congratulations to this hard-working graduate of our high school.

Thomas Dresser has returned to his favorite month on the Vineyard, September. Tom and his daughter Jill have spent two weeks chasing down family and genealogy in the United Kingdom. They had a great time.
