On Saturday, Feb. 25, the Martha’s Vineyard Museum will present Black Lives Still Matter, a panel discussion about racism and racial justice work since the murder of George Floyd in 2020. Speakers include members of Black Lives Matter MV and Eric Adams, a family therapist and local racial justice leader.
The discussion will examine not just the past three years but also the present and future of racial justice movements. The event will begin at 3 p.m. at the museum’s Vineyard Haven campus.
Mr. Adams is the host of Shed, a podcast produced by the Vineyard Gazette. Shed features interviews with Islanders who share their stories in the context of talking about race. Season Two of Shed was released on Feb. 16 and can be found through Google, Spotify, Apple and Stitcher.
