On Thursday, June 8, Island businesses will gather for the Best of the Vineyard, an annual party hosted by Martha’s Vineyard Magazine to highlight the best and brightest in food, shopping, entertainment, outdoor adventures and more.

Nearly 3,300 voters cast more than 96,000 votes this year, with 198 businesses taking home first or second prize. The winners will be announced live at the outdoor event.

“As we know, operating a business on-Island is no easy feat, especially not in peak season,” said Martha’s Vineyard Magazine editor Vanessa Czarnecki. “This is a chance to celebrate the Island business community before the heat of the summer sets in.”

The Best of the Vineyard party takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs. Cape Cod Beer and Polar Beverages will provide drinks; the Clambulance will offer a raw bar; and some of the night’s winners may even offer a few “Best of” bites. To keep the party going, DJ Rockwell and the Vineyard Sound a cappella group will bring the music.
