The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Oct. 27

Cressan G. Gordon, 33, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on July 26 charges in Oak Bluffs of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and leaving a scene of personal injury. Defendant entered pleas of not guilty and released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 4, 2024.

Nov. 3

Wedson F. Deaguilar, 20, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on July 16 charges in Edgartown of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and defacing property. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 19, 2024.

Wagner E. Nunes, 31, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on June 29 charges in Oak Bluffs of a number plate violation to conceal identity, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no inspection sticker, unregistered motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 19, 2024.

Nov. 6

A probable resolution disposition was heard in the case of Jake H. Bilzerian, 31, of West Tisbury, on a Nov. 16, 2021 charge in Vineyard Haven of a second offense of shoplifting by asportation. Case continued. Probable resolution disposition scheduled for Feb. 1, 2024.
