The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Oct. 6

Natalie Smith, 41, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on Oct. 3 charges in Edgartown of breaking and entering for the purpose of misdemeanor, trespassing and a common law violation of interfering with a police officer. Defendant released on personal recognizance and payment of $100 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing held Dec. 21 on which date discovery, compliance and jury selection was scheduled for Feb. 22, 2024.

Dec. 7

Michael R. Habekost, 54, of Edgartown, was arraigned on a Dec. 4 charge in Edgartown of violating a harassment prevention order. Defendant released on payment of $200 bail and a $150 counsel fee and with further condition of no abuse of alleged victim. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 20, 2024.

Dec. 18

Victoria Correnti, 38, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on a Sept. 21 charge in Vineyard Haven of leaving a scene of property damage. Defendant released on personal recognizance and payment of $150 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 15, 2024.

Dec. 21

Jahlee R. Bonfield, 21, of New Britain, Conn., was arraigned on a Sept. 29 charge in Oak Bluffs of violating a municipal bylaw or ordinance. Case closed on basis of nolle prosequi when citation of not more than $300 paid on Dec. 21.

Daniel O’Connor, 55, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on a Sept. 27 charge in Oak Bluffs of making a false crime report. Defendant released on personal recognizance and payment of $150 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 22, 2024.

Charles H. Wilson, 65, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on a July 9 charge in Oak Bluffs of violating a municipal bylaw or ordinance. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 22, 2024.

Charles H. Wilson, 65, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on an August 15 charge in Oak Bluffs of trespassing. Counsel fee waived and defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 22, 2024.

Dec. 22

Rodrigo Daghetto, 36, of Edgartown, was arraigned on Sept. 2 charges in Edgartown of leaving a scene of property damage and failure to report injury to a dog or cat. Defendant released on personal recognizance and payment of $150 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 26, 2024.
