The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Feb. 22

Jamie Lynn Murphy, 37, of Edgartown, was arraigned on Feb. 20 charges in Edgartown of assault and battery and assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 or disabled. Defendant released on personal recognizance and payment of $150 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 2.

March 4

Michael L. Willoughby, 44, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on a Jan. 3 charge in Vineyard Haven of leaving a scene of property damage. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 30.
