A slew of Tisbury incumbents easily won re-election Tuesday, after 451 town voters cast their ballots at the public safety building on Spring street.

Select board chair Roy Cutrer had the closest race, with 274 ballots in his favor and 139 for write-in candidate Mary Bernadette Budinger-Cormie, according to uncertified final results provided by Tisbury town clerk Hillary Conklin.

All three terms are for three years.

Running unopposed for a five-year seat on the planning board, Daniel C. Phelan received 346 votes.

On the finance and advisory committee, unopposed incumbents Allan Rogers and Nancy Gilfoy were re-elected to three year-terms.

There was no candidate for a third three-year seat on the committee, for which planning board member Elaine Miller received 24 write-in votes and Bruce J. Campbell 10.

Unopposed candidate Russell Hartenstine was elected to a one-year term on the finance and advisory committee.

With no candidate for a three-year opening on the board of assessors, Madelyn W. Silvia received 32 write-in votes.

Tisbury voters also returned incumbent library trustees Janet K. Hefler, Carolyn B. Henderson and Pamela S. Street, board of health member Malcolm Boyd and water commissioner Roland Miller for three-year terms.
