June 25

Neil Howell, 41, of Edgartown, was arraigned on June 25 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on a family or household member, strangulation or suffocation, witness intimidation and defacing property. Bail was set at $150 and he has a pretrial hearing on July 22.

June 26

Troy Hobby, 53, of Edgartown, was arraigned on June 26 charges in Edgartown of violating an abuse prevention order, malicious destruction of property, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, speeding and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Bail was set at $2,000 and he has a pretrial hearing on July 25. June 27

Samantha Arnold, 30, of Chelmsford, was arraigned on a June 26 charge in Oak Bluffs of shoplifting by asportation. She was released on personal recognizance and is due back in court for a pretrial hearing on July 18.

Corinne Biorci, 42, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on a June 26 charge in Tisbury of assault and battery on a family or household member. Bail was set at $100 and she has a pretrial hearing on July 11.

July 3

Jonathan Jacobs, 34, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on July 3 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled. He was released on personal recognizance and has a pretrial hearing on August 5.

Boston Leger, 19, of Rowayton, Ct., was arraigned on July 3 charges in Edgartown of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and assault with a dangerous weapon. Bail was set at $500 and he has a pretrial hearing on August 19.

July 5

Jhully Gomes, 20, of Vineyard Haven was arraigned on Feb. 9 charges in Tisbury of improper use of a credit card for over $1,200, credit card fraud of over $1,200, larceny of a credit card, and larceny by a single scheme for over $1,200. He was released on personal recognizance and has a pretrial hearing on Sept. 6.
