The Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation invites nonprofit organizations serving the Island to apply for program-based funding through its 2026 community and impact grants.

The application is available now and is due on Monday, Sept. 28 at noon.

The foundation encourages requests for new projects as well as continuing programs that offer creative solutions to emerging and persistent issues such as food and housing security, health services, environmental sustainability and access for people of any ability.

Last year, $600,000 was awarded to 54 nonprofits — the highest-ever level of funding awarded during the annual competitive process. The average award size was just over $11,000.

Awards will be announced in mid-November.
