Celestine Crews and Michael Allyn Williams will marry on June 7 at Garde East in Vineyard Haven. Maj. Steven A. Lopes of USE, will officiate, with Maj. Valerie J. Lopes of USE, participating.

The bride who is 52, majored in political science at Rutgers University and also served in the Marine Corps where she obtained the nickname CC while touring in Okinawa, Japan. She is an IT supervisor at Apple, Inc. and an active member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the Actor’s Equity Association.

She is the daughter of Marion Loretta Crews of Union, N.J., and the late John Earl Crews of Newark, N.J.

The bridegroom who is 60, is a graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in electrical engineering and a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He is the son of the late Martha Mary Williams and Walter Edward Williams.

The couple met on the Vineyard at a birthday party at the Portuguese American Club in Oak Bluffs.
