John J. Lynch of Edgartown died on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 78.

He was the husband of Carolyn (Beane) Lynch, and father of Nancy Lynch and Susie Muller.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Edgartown at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the New Westside Cemetery.
