Regarding the Caleb Prouty House, how about:
• Moving Stop & Shop to where Hinckley’s Lumber used to be — and connecting the lot to Lagoon Road for a better traffic pattern;
• Restoring the Caleb Prouty House to be a Welcome Center.
• Redesigning the existing parking lot;
• Designing a handsome parking lot (with trees and landscaping) for the much-needed parking for downtown Vineyard Haven and a more beautiful entrance to the Island.
