Posting the current month's bird photos is a regular feature at the Gazette online, RW. For a number of years now, the Gazette has been posting my bird photos that are submitted to illustrate Rob Culbert's column, "Bird News", at an additional location online. I regularly submit five or more species for each week. But neither the paper nor the digital edition of "Bird News" can include them all. They are gathered in monthly collections, titled "Bird Sightings on Martha's Vineyard: ...", which appear under the Photography tab online. Each month starts fresh, but you can find past months in the archives. Typically, at the bottom of the weekly column there is a "More photos" link to show you the rest of the photos that are posted for the current month. Thanks a lot for your interest.

These cranes are only occasional visitors, and by no means an annual event here on MV. It is more unusual still to get reports of more than one at a time. It seems there have recently been two separate Sandhill Cranes on the Vineyard. It is hard to say how long they will linger.
