Since my son Adam’s death, our family has received, and appreciated, lots of good wishes and condolences. But it seems Adam has more than one family. There is his crew and all the employees, present and former, at the airport, surfing buddies and childhood friends, and his musician family, both on the Island and in Boston. To all of you I send my condolences for the loss of this friend and brother. Thanks, and I wish I could hug you all. A special thanks to the West Tisbury police, Edgartown police, state police, and all his friends and coworkers who so diligently searched for him.
At some point in the future, when Covid restrictions ease, the Friedmans, Willises, Myers and Desmonds will be back on Martha’s Vineyard to together remember, celebrate, and appreciate Adam and his role in our lives.
