Kudos to Steve Bernier, owner of Cronig’s market, for caring more about preserving our unique Island community than money. I applaud his choice to watch his dream unfold and his desire to participate in Cronig’s successful transition. As a small business owner on the Island, I believe legacy, community and long-term planning are of the utmost importance.
