The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Sept. 12

Justin Halpern, 44, of Edgartown, was arraigned on Sept. 12 charges in Oak Bluffs of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop. Bail was set at $100; a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4.

Patrick Phillips, 66, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on Sept. 12 charges in Edgartown of violating an abuse prevention order. He was released on personal recognizance; a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Nov. 12.
