It looks like we are in for a seesaw week of weather. It is going to be in the 40s then on weekend in the 20s, then back into the 40s. Christmas Day is supposed to be 45 degrees, which I guess means it will not be a white Christmas.
Happy Birthday to all who celebrated their day this past week. Big balloons go out to Michael De Freitas and Lochlan Pearl who celebrated Dec. 18; and to Asaph Braz and Kinzie Phillips who celebrated their day, Dec. 19.
I am not feeling alone being so far behind with the preparations for Christmas. People are still buying trees, and wreaths and just now decorating their pots. I am seeing a lot of Amazon and Walmart packages being dropped off at mailboxes and people leaving the post office with packages, so I am sure the wrap-a-thon will be on for the next few days.
This past weekend I attended my niece Debbie Nobles surprise milestone birthday. She wanted to have her daughters and go with her to see Six, the musical of the six wives of Henry the eighth, in Boston at the Emerson Theatre. The play is a cast of all females, even the musicians and interrupters. So, her daughters put it out too all the female relatives and a couple of her friends and we ended up with a bus of 20 women, even a female bus driver, Liz, who was awesome.
Debbie was very surprised, and we were glad to put one over on her which is not very easy. The play was fabulous and full of energy. If you get a chance, go see it. It is only 80 minutes long and the time goes so fast with all the dancing and singing. We then traveled to Adria Restaurant and Banquet Facility in Bridgewater for dinner. We all had a great meal to put a wonderful finish on a great day. Happy Birthday Debbie and here is to many more.
I want of wish you all a very Happy Holidays and hope you all get some family time in. Please remember those who may not have family close, and some may be alone for Christmas. Remember, a phone call goes a long way and may make someone happy.
Have a great week and keep the home candles burning.
