A child’s love

The truest of truth

Like pollen to flowers

Little bodies blossom

Where love blooms

Innocent and pure

Loving thy neighbor as thyself

Until they don’t

Where fertile ground

Let’s weeds grow too

Rooted deep

In generational lies

The progeny of hate

Love’s antagonistic mate

Bound together

As is night and day

In a shadowy dance

Children must navigate

Between truth’s light

And hate’s lies

Before the light

Of childhood fades

When love gives way

To adulthood’s fate

Unless remains

The child within

Who knows only love

Lives only truth

And knows no hate.
