JoAnne L. Conroy Lipinsky died on June 10 on the Vineyard. Her beauty will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born on May 5, 1956, in Fall River to Lena Abdelnour Conroy and Patrick Conroy. She worked for the Edgartown National Bank for 12 years and at the time of her death was employed by the Harbor View Hotel and Resort.

JoAnne’s passion for life and the outdoors was obvious. She loved beaches, skiing, traveling, Bruce Springsteen and her beloved dogs, Zeus and Hercules.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Michael; her daughter Holly and her spouse Michael; granddaughters, Halley and Sophia; sister Patricia and nephews, Randall and Leonard.

A visitation will be held at the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs on Wednesday, June 15, from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a 2 p.m. funeral home service officiated by the Rev. Michael Nagle. A celebration of her life will be held at the Portuguese American Club immediately following the service. Please bring a covered dish of your choice to enjoy.
