Duncan W. McBride of Edgartown, a lifelong Island resident, died on Monday, June 7, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. He was 86 and was the husband of Margaret (Elliott) McBride.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11, in the New Westside Cemetery on Robinson Road in Edgartown at 1 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Vincent Seadale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, P.O. Box 1477, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557.
