Norman Irving Sebell, 87, of Canton and Oak Bluffs died Sept. 8, 2009.

He was the devoted husband of Ruth Horowitz Sebell, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage; the loving brother of the late Adolph Sebell; the beloved father of Mark Henry Sebell and his wife Amy of Andover; Donna Carty Buchholz and her husband Alan of Naples, Fla.; the late Bruce Elliot Sebell and his wife Jeanne Fradette of Scituate; Lisa Sebell-Nevins and her husband William of Cambridge; and Holly Sebell Fenn and her husband Bradbury of Hopkinton.

He also is survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Schlossberg–Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington Street, Canton on Friday, Sept. 11 at noon, with burial service immediately following at Plymouth Rock Cemetery in Brockton.
