Lucy Bliss Whittemore and Barton Heywood were married Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Lucy’s late mother’s house. Joe Sollitto officiated.

She is the daughter of the late Suzanne S. Whittemore of Edgartown and the Rev. James Whittemore of Falmouth, Me.

Barton is the son of the late Carroll and Roger Heywood of Chappy and Duxbury.

They will reside in Edgartown.
