Kay Scheidler, author of Standards Matter, will be speaking at the Bunch of Grapes Bookstore on Wednesday, June 17, at 7 p.m.

Ms. Scheidler’s book addresses the value of the Common Core standards in public school education. In the author’s words, her book “is intended to enlighten the public on standards information, to de-mystify them, and presents vignettes, showing how standards work well in schools.”
