Islanders hunkered down Saturday as a winter storm lashed the Island. Power outages were reported across the Island and between 10 and 15 inches of snow accumulated. But by sunrise Sunday the snow was mostly over and the winds dying down, and Vineyarders emerged, many with shovels in hand, to take a look at the snowy Island.
