Head to head strawberry festivals arrive on Island this Saturday, June 18.

The West Tisbury Congregational Church hosts its long-running fetival from noon to 4 p.m. at 1051 State Road, West Tisbury. Stop by and enjoy strawberries and whipped cream, strawberries and ice cream, strawberry smoothies, and, of course, strawberry shortcake. There will also be berries and strawberry jam to go and a raffle. All proceeds go to supporting the church.

Morning Glory Farm at 120 Meshacket Road in Edgartown rolls out the sweets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Look for strawberry shortcakes, strawberry pies, and more farm food, plus games and activities. Pints of the farm's sweet berries will also be available.
