The Steamship Authority has announced Terry Cote Vizard as the boat line’s new treasurer/comptroller.

Ms. Cote Vizard, formerly the chief financial officer for Outer Cape Health Services, was approved by SSA board of governors. She will replace previous treasurer Bob Davis, who has been named the Steamship Authority new general manager.

According to a press release from the Steamship Authority, Ms. Cote Vizard is Certified Public Accountant and has more than 30 years of experience with government, health care, and non-profit organizations. She had a unanimous recommendation for the position at the Steamship Authority based on her familiarity with accounting principles, governmental accounting standards, and SSA finances. While working at Deloitte & Touche LLP she was audit manager for the SSA account.

Ms. Cote Vizard resides in West Yarmouth.
