Janet French died on Oct. 23 in Sebring, Florida. She was 77.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1940 in Providence, R.I. She moved to Sebring in 2005 from Smithville, R.I.
She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, Fla., of the Red Hat Society, the Genealogy Club and an active member of the Tanglewood Community. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed summers on Martha’s Vineyard.
She is survived by her husband Harold N. French of Sebring, Fla.; son Nelson French and his wife Lisa; daughter Susan Glab and her husband Keith; brother Gerald Blinkhorn and his wife Emily; sister Jacqueline St. Onge; grandchildren Evan, Hunter, K.J and Ellie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Ernest Blinkhorn and Jannette Levesque and a sister Paula Lewis.
A graveside service will be held on Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Rhode Island Veteran Cemetery in Exeter, R.I.
