I would wholly support any Home Rule Petition to ban mopeds on the Island in general, I am a professional truck driver and it has gotten to the point in Summer where it becomes almost impossible to do my job. Anyone who is working in my profession on the island I feel would most likely agree that they live in constant fear of a moped swerving into there path. It has become a nightmare to drive on Island roads in Summer with the combination of everyone who is on the side of the road, bicycles, mopeds, walkers, and joggers we need to scale back use and by banning mopeds that would be a step in the right direction.
