Dorothy Kalcounos, 92, Was Native of Pawtucket

Dorothy Kalcounos, 92, of Oak Bluffs, a former bookkeeper, died Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Jewish Memorial Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late William Kalcounos.

She was born in Pawtucket, R.I., the daughter of the late Robert and Louisa (Weavill) Smith. Mrs. Kalcounos was a bookkeeper for various companies in Rhode Island for many years. She had lived in Pawtucket before moving to Oak Bluffs 29 years ago.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Camacho of Oak Bluffs; two grandchildren: Jane Camacho of Oak Bluffs and Willliam Camacho of Fall River, and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 23 in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage street, Pawtucket. Interment was in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls, R.I.
