Frances Lee Gordon, 74, Was Oak Bluffs Native
Frances Lee Gordon, 74, of Metacom Manor in Bristol, R.I., formerly of Hillside avenue in Attleboro, died at the Manor on Tuesday, Jan. 7. She was the former wife of the late Paul W. Gordon.
Born in Oak Bluffs, she was a daughter of the late Frank F. and Doris L. MacNeill Blankenship. She was a 1945 graduate of the Oak Bluffs High School, and lived on the Vineyard until moving to the Attleboro area in 1960.
Mrs. Gordon was employed as a quality control inspector for Augat Inc. in Attleboro for 20 years prior to retiring in 1992. She was a former communicant of St. Mark's Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
Mrs. Gordon leaves two daughters, Marilee A. Ezyk of North Attleboro and Paula M. Rader of Attleboro; two grandchildren, James M. Moffat 4th of Pawtucket, R.I., and Jessica Moffat-Ressler of Woonsocket, R.I.; two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and James H. Moffat 5th of Pawtucket, R.I., and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend funeral services on Friday, Jan. 10, at 8 a.m. from the Commonwealth Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark's Church, Stanley street, Attleboro Falls. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Attleboro.
