Paul Allen Bennett Was Indianapolis Executive
Paul Allen Bennett, 75, of Indianapolis, died July 6.
Mr. Bennett was born on April 10, 1928 in Brookline to the late Carlton E. and Alice (Briggs) Bennett. He served in the U.S. Army in the First Calvary Division, 94th Infantry Battalion, where he was with the Army of Occupation in Japan. Having graduated with a B.S. from Boston University and an M.S. from Ball State University, he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He worked for Jefferson National Life Insurance Company for 26 years, retiring as vice president of corporate communications.
In addition, Mr. Bennett had been a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Indianapolis Public Relations Society. He also had been a member of the Boston University Masonic Blue Lodge, York Rite, Scottish Rite and Shrine.
Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Claire (Richardson) Bennett; children, Pamela Joseph, Sandra Moschenross, Debora Bennett Bush, and Robert R. "Dob" Bennett; grandchildren, Melissa and John Joseph, Lauren Moschenross. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 2:30 until 4 in Leppert & Hensley Mortuary, Nora Chapel with a celebration of life beginning at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paul Allen Bennett Graduate Scholarship c/o Ball State University Foundation, P.O.
