Melvin C. DeBettencourt

Melvin C. DeBettencourt of Oak Bluffs died Sunday, Sept. 3, at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital. He was 67. He was the owner of the Corner Store in Oak Bluffs.

His funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
