Anthony J. Maruca, 74, died at his home in Lawrenceville, N.J., on July 7. The cause of death was prostate cancer. Tony had a long career at Princeton University, from which he graduated in 1954. He left there in 1987, retiring as vice president for administration and then worked at the Rockefeller family office in Manhattan.

In 1992 Tony moved to the Vineyard where he was actively engaged with the Sheriff's Meadow Foundation and the Permanent Endowment Fund for Martha's Vineyard. He also served on the board of the Martha's Vineyard Hospital and the board of the Vineyard Gazette.

Tony is survived by his wife, Sally and their children, Sam, Nina, Mike, Pete and Joe and by 10 grandchildren. There will be a gathering in Tony's memory at the Wakeman Center on Thursday, August 23 at 4:30 p.m. There will also be a memorial service at the Princeton University Chapel on Friday, Sept. 24.
