Barbara E. Blake Condlin of Edgartown, formerly of Randolph and Roslindale, died July 24 in New England Baptist Hospital, Boston. She was 84.

 

She was the wife of the late John W. Condlin.

Mrs. Condlin was born in Boston and was a graduate of Borrows Business School, Boston. She had lived in Edgartown since 1977. Prior to that, she had lived in Randolph from 1941 to 1977. She previously had lived in Roslindale.

She was a member of the Edgartown Woman's Club and volunteered for the Anchors senior center in Edgartown. She also was an active member of St. Andrew's Church, Edgartown. She was the mother of Barbara B. Mellon of Randolph, John W. Condlin Jr. of Norfolk, Paul V. Condlin of Edgartown and the late James R. Condlin; mother in law of David Mellon,  Denise Condlin and Linda Condlin; sister of the late John C. Blake, Warren F. Blake and Byron E. Blake; grandmother of James M. Mellon, Elizabeth B. Mellon, John W. Condlin 3rd, David P. Condlin, Alicia J. Condlin and James R. Condlin. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Calling hours are set from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main street (Route 28), Randolph. A funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Interment will be in Central Cemetery, Randolph.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in St. Andrew's Church, Edgartown.
