Dr. Sidney S. Kaufman of Ocean Ridge, Fla. and the Vineyard died early Monday morning, August 6 at his home in Chilmark.

He was the husband of Lois Sanger Kaufman, who predeceased him in June 2002, and father of Joanne, Patricia and David.

His graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, August 7 in Abel's Hill Cemetery, South Road, Chilmark. The Rabbi Gerry Davidson will officiate.
