Peter G. Clements Sr. of Barrington, R.I., lost a brave fight to pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Gordon Albert Chase of Vero Beach, Fla. died on Sept. 3. He was 87.

Samuel Alexander Campbell, also known as Magic Sam, died on June 27 after a long battle with cancer. He was 74.

Alice M. Childs died peacefully on August 16 on Bainbridge Island, Wash. She was 97.

Yvonne Davidson Cassidy died peacefully at her home in Commercial Point, Ohio the evening of August 19. She was 87.

A memorial service will be held for Langdon (Lang) Clarke will be held Saturday, August 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Edgartown.

Rosalie Constance Corsiglia, known to family and friends as Connie, died August 3 at Charlene Manor in Greenfield. She was 91.

William Lord Coleman, a summer resident of Chilmark for more than 35 years, died August 21. He was 74.

Born August 21, 1929, Richard (Dick) Cox was a pioneer in the broadcasting industry. His first job was as an usher at CBS Radio at age 16.
