Mabel Champney McCarthy died peacefully of natural causes on Sept. 19 at the Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 92.

Virginia (Gina) Hartley Menton, formerly of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Oak Bluffs, died peacefully on July 5, surrounded by her loving children.

Mark H. Mattison died peacefully June 28 after a valiant battle following a double lung transplant for pulmonary fibrosis.

John L. McCauley Jr. of Newport, R.I., and a longtime resident of Vineyard Haven, died on the threshold of summer, June 20. He was 86.

Services for Mrs. Irene Carson MacKenty of Edgartown will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. at the New Westside Cemetery in Edgartown.
