Capt. Everett Lee Whorton Jr, of Oak Bluffs, died at home on Sunday, March 16. He was 80.

Jonathan Merrill Whiting, known as Jay to many, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 10 after a short illness. He was 73.
