Sam Bass Warner Jr., a distinguished urban historian, died on Jan. 22 in Needham.

Micah H. Washington of Brockton died unexpectedly on Dec. 6, 2022.

Linda Mary Wilson died peacefully on Dec. 13 at home in Oak Bluffs on the Island she had come to love.

Douglas West, a year-round resident of Martha's Vineyard since 2017, died peacefully and surrounded by his family on Dec. 16 in Falmouth.

Leone Webster, a longtime resident of Ojai, Calif., died peacefully on Nov. 6, surrounded by family and friends.
